CE

The CE marking is used for EU market supervision. By affixing the CE mark to a product, the manufacturer declares that it complies with EU requirements, and the product is thus able to move freely within the European market.

Low Voltage Directive: ensures that the product accompanied by all the appropriate marks, indications and instructions so that it will be used properly and safely and also that it is designed to provide protection against hazards arising from itself and also has protection against hazards possibly caused by external influences.

EMC Directive: ensures that the electromagnetic disturbance the product emits does not exceed a level allowing radio and telecommunication equipment and other apparatus to operate as intended. It evaluates the level of electromagnetic disturbance the product generates, and whether it has an adequate level of intrinsic immunity to electromagnetic disturbance from external sources.

PSE

pse.jpg
PSE (Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law) is the law establishing technological standards concerning the safety of electrical appliances. In addition to restricting the manufacture, import, and sale of electrical appliances and materials, the laws aims to prevent danger and the occurrence of damage from electrical appliances by promoting voluntary action by private businesses to ensure the safety of electrical appliances. As of April, 2006 electrical appliances which have not been granted the PSE mark cannot be sold (excepting certain used appliances). VESSEL CO., Ltd. carries out electrification inspections, dielectric strength tests and insulation resistance tests on all manufactured units of models SDJ-05R, SDF-14, IPC-20, and IPC-40, which require the PSE mark.
